The Peter Murphy International Golf Institute

The Peter Murphy International Golf Institute is located at Stonebridge Ranch Golf and Country Club in McKinney, Texas.

Peter Murphy was born in Melbourne, Australia and has nearly 38 years experience playing golf. He played in his first professional event as an amateur at the age of 13.

Peter has numerous accomplishments and awards. He is the second youngest player in the world to record a hole-in-one. The youngest ever being the very well known Tiger Woods. Peter has won over 200 junior tournaments and is a seven-time Australian state and national champion. He represented Australia twice in the World Cup and played for 10 years on the Australasian Tour. Peter is the holder of six course records recording his lowest ever round of 61 on a Par 72 twice.

Peter lists students on every major professional tour throughout the world, many top junior players from across the globe, as well as many successful NCAA collegiate players.

Peter has taught at the prestigious Australian Institute of Sports Medicine and held the position of Director of Instruction at The Hank Haney Golf Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Peter is also a certified personal fitness trainer.

Peter Murphy has authored articles in Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, Par Fore Magazine, Golf Digest Weekly, Golf Monthly, Waggle Magazine, Texas Golfer, Scratch Golfer, Junior Golf Monthly, Golf Digest China, Golf Digest Australia, Golf Australia and Golf Digest Japan.
