Doug is an accomplished,performance-driven leader with 30+ years in the direct marketing industry offering a legacy of business rejuvenation and development. He is a dynamic organizer of people, projects, and events, with an inventive flair for implementing business strategies. He is a persuasive communicator and presenter with an affinity for penetrating new markets and gaining customer acceptance of new products and services.

For the past 10 years he has focused his efforts in the e-Marketing space, specializing in search engine optimization (SEO), Internet search marketing, strategic Internet advertising, pay-per click (PPC) advertising, social media engagement, website development and email marketing on behalf of his clients.

Doug (a ten Handicap golfer) has grown up in and around the game of golf. His older brother worked at Golf Illustrated for many years and his younger brother is currently a managing editor at a major golf publication. Doug's passion for Golf and his three decades of direct marketing and e-marketing experience make him uniquely suited to drive the growth of our Golf related clients using today's cutting edge media. But Doug does not stop with golf. He is an avid fan of the NFL and MLB as well as an expert in all traditional marketing and sports marketing strategies.

WALTER KARL INC -- 1980 - 1982

Doug literally entered Direct Marketing on the ground floor as the mail boys' gopher at Walter Karl, Inc. He was trained to run the A.B. Dick offset printing press to produce direct mail flyers and assisted in the collection of mail and assembling of direct mail promotions. Mr. Karl himself quickly had Doug promoted into Sales where he became one of the first pure telemarketers in the country.

DIRECT MEDIA, INC -- 1982 - 1990

As vice president of List Management, Doug Sauerhaft pioneered advertising and marketing operations; led sales for major accounts, including Spiegel, Eddie Bauer, Playboy and Rodale Press. Named to the first ever Target Marketing Magazine "200 Most Influential People in Direct Marketing."

DCS LISTS, Inc -- 1990 - 1992

Doug Sauerhaft founded and managed a successful compiled-list reselling company, targeting military veterans and senior markets.

MAL DUNN ASSOCIATES -- 1992 - 1995

As vice president of MDA List Management, Doug Sauerhaft led the rebuilding and restructuring of the crippled list company following the sudden demise of the company's owner and subsequent departure of its signature account. Transformed broken, disgruntled list management department into viable operating unit by installing sales and service structure, hiring and training 14 staff members and landing several new accounts. Developed the company's first advertising schedule and negotiated insertion contracts. Re-ignited company's credibility from the brink of failure by finding and executing major acquisitions.

THE LISTWORKS CORP -- 1995 - 1996

As vice president of business development at The Listworks, Doug Sauerhaft orchestrated improvements in developing business for all three of the company's divisions (list mgmt,list brokerage, computer services), pursuing and establishing lasting business partnerships to ensure the company's ongoing stability.

THE KAPLAN AGENCY -- 1996 - 1998

Doug Sauerhaft served as senior vice president of List Management. Oversaw management of sales and service operations for list and alternate media groups, including 12 direct reports, marketing & advertising, and implementation of successful sales process & structure. Increased sales by 25% through new acquisitions boosted performance by developing new business for the list and alternate media teams. Turned around previously stagnant accounts like Newport News with consistent sales growth; improved flagging sales of several clients by convincing them to reposition alternate media products.

MAL DUNN ASSOCIATES -- 1998 - 2002

Doug Sauerhaft was recruited back to MDA to launch the first public access transactional database called "Marketshare" and quickly established recurring annual sales in excess of $1 million. Doug Sauerhaft then was asked take on sales operations for three divisions (Alternate Media, ADVO Lists and Compiled Lists) while also directing the company's corporate marketing programs and objectives.

DIRECT MEDIA, INC -- 2002 - 2007

A senior vice president, Doug Sauerhaft created an e-Commerce Unit at Direct Media. Forging relationships with key vendors to offer a full suite of e-marketing services to Direct Media's client base including; e-Deployment (prospecting and house-file and multi-channel coordination), e-Append, Web Design, Search, PPC, SEO, and e-Brokerage. Successfully developed and launched an online compiled mailing list purchasing website for Direct Media-- www.mailinglist.com.The site enables small business owners to purchase consumer, business and specialty mailing lists directly online.

DCS Marketing Solutions LLC -- 2007 - 2010

Doug Sauerhaft created an online direct mail and e-marketing services website (www.greatmailinglists.com)targeting small and mid-sized and start-up businesses. The site offers vertical market email lists for sale. In addition to lists, the site offers 10 different e-marketing solutions including email sending, SEO, PPC, Web Development and email append.

Complete postal database and telemarketing services are also available. Doug Sauerhaft also acts as List Broker to several core clients and also offers e-marketing/social media consulting and project management services as needed. The Mark Andrew Group -- 2010 - present

Doug Sauerhaft has joined The Mark Andrew Group as president, working with Mark Andrew Zwartynski to enhance the array of expertise, consulting and hands on services that Mark Andrew provides his sports marketing, sports management and high profile personal brand strategy clients.
